Stanford Australia Foundation

Since 2008, the Stanford Australia Foundation has sought to build the capacity of the not-for-profit sector in Australia through scholarship

About SAF

The Stanford Australia Foundation (SAF) is an initiative of the Stanford Australia Association (SAA), which was established in 1987 to link the substantial group of Stanford alumni in Australia. Since 2008, the SAF has sought to build the capacity of the not-for-profit sector in Australia through scholarship.

Our mission is to enable more Australians to share the exciting experience of a Stanford education for the benefit of the Australian community. Our flagship scholarship, the non-profit scholarship program provides an opportunity for senior executives in the Australian not-for-profit sector to undertake further study at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). SAF continues to seek opportunities and partnerships to support Australian non-profit and innovation leaders through scholarship.

The Stanford GSB is one of the world’s leading business schools located in Palo Alto, California at the heart of Silicon Valley. The school fosters innovative solutions to social problems by enhancing the leadership, management and organisational capacity of individuals and institutions pursuing social value creation.
